Data Collected and Processing Purposes

When creating an account, you only need to set a username and password; no email address is required. vpnLi does not require an email address for account creation. Your username identifies your account, while your password is protected by the system’s security mechanisms and used to verify your login. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

After you purchase a subscription or data package, the system stores the order status, selected product, payment method, payment result, activation time, total data usage and refund records. This information is used to deliver the service, reconcile payments, process plan changes, determine service validity and apply the refund policy. Usage statistics are used only for account allowances and service operation and do not include browsing content.

To maintain the website and user panel, analytics may process access times, referring pages, browser type, operating system, interface language, page paths and general network information. This information is used to identify page issues, improve compatibility and assess content effectiveness. It is not used to build profiles of the content users access on international websites.

No-Logs Policy and Connection Data

vpnLi does not record which websites users visit, store webpage content, search queries, communication text or application traffic, or build browsing histories that could be used to reconstruct personal browsing activity.

While the network is operating, the service may temporarily process technical information required to establish a connection, such as account status, selected route, connection time, measured data usage and error codes. This operational data is used only to authorize connections, calculate plan usage, investigate issues and keep routes running reliably. Once the relevant processing is complete, temporary connection records that are no longer needed are deleted or disconnected from the account and are not retained as long-term browsing histories.

When the service faces security risks, unusual requests or resource abuse, necessary technical records may be retained while the issue is being handled. Once the risk has been resolved and the records are no longer needed for operations or dispute handling, they will be cleared according to the retention rules.

Cookies and Local Storage

The website and user panel may use cookies or browser local storage to save login status, language preferences, interface settings and necessary session identifiers. This data is used to maintain your login, restore your choices and keep panel features working properly. It is not used to record specific browsing content.

You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings. After clearing them, you may need to set up your login status and some interface preferences again. Refusing non-essential storage will not affect the basic reading experience on public pages, but disabling storage required to maintain a session may prevent the user panel from keeping you logged in.

Payments and Third-Party Processing

The service supports Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT. Payment confirmation is handled by the relevant third-party payment channel or network. vpnLi receives only the payment status, transaction identifier and amount result needed to complete orders and verify service delivery, and does not directly store complete authentication details for third-party payment accounts.

After you enter a third-party payment environment, the relevant information is also subject to that provider’s privacy rules and security measures. To handle order disputes, refunds or abnormal payment statuses, necessary order records may be checked between vpnLi and the corresponding payment provider. The scope of any verification is limited to the information needed to resolve the matter.

Data Retention, Access and Deletion

Account information is retained while the account remains in use. Order and refund records are kept as needed for transaction reconciliation, dispute handling and applicable compliance requirements. Analytics are primarily used in aggregated form and are aggregated or de-identified once individual visits no longer need to be identified. There is no single retention period for all data; cleanup timing depends on whether the purpose of processing has been completed.

You can log in to the user panel and submit a request to access, correct or delete account information through the support ticket entry point. To prevent someone else from acting on your behalf, we may need to verify control of the current account before processing the request. Once a deletion request is completed, data no longer needed in the account will be removed. Data that cannot temporarily be deleted because of open orders, refund disputes, security incidents or necessary record-keeping obligations will be cleared after the relevant matter ends.

Policy Updates

This policy may be updated when service features, data processing practices or applicable requirements change. The revised policy will be published on this page, and the last-updated date at the top will be changed. Important changes involving data use or user rights will be highlighted on the website or in the user panel. The updated policy applies to processing activities carried out after it takes effect.
